Bring your Kids along to the Tumbulgum Rangers Sports Field at beautiful Tumbulgum, where the whole family can enjoy the public holiday in the sun with Aussie games and activities. The day will start with a FREE breakfast from 8.00am courtesy of Tumbulgum Community Association and sponsors. This is a tradition for Australia Day in Tumbulgum and everyone is welcome.

Australia Day in Tumbulgum will feature a great program including:

– Award Presentations
– Raising of the Flag and Singing of the National Anthem
– Live Music
– Swaggie Making Workshop
– Tumbulgum Public School ‘Waltzing Matilda Art Show’ – Prizes to be awarded
– Australiana Games such as Whip Cracking, Thong Throwing and More
– ‘Tumbulgum vs North Tumbulgum’ Cricket Challenge (Additional details below)

Have a blast and join the traditional cricket challenge, ‘Tumbulgum vs North Tumbulgum’. This year the cricket challenge is sponsored by Judy Emzin Bookkeeping, Tumbulgum Tavern and Tumbulgum Community Association.

The first 20 cricket players on each side to register on the Facebook Tumbulgum Community News & Events site will receive a screen-printed polo shirt to wear and keep after the challenge. See Australia Day ‘Village People Vs Cavaliers’ Cricket Challenge event for more details.

The Tumbulgum ‘Village People’ and the North Tumbulgum ‘Cavaliers’ are making a real difference to families with breast cancer by holding a #PinkStumpsDay, turning the Brian Breckenridge Field PINK on Australia Day in support of the McGrath Foundation. #PinkStumpsDay helps raise funds to place McGrath Breast Care Nurses in communities across the country like Tumbulgum!
