Tumbulgum Hall

The heritage listed Tumbulgum Hall is the perfect place for your next event.

A small, historic public hall located in the picturesque village of Tumbulgum on the Tweed River, it was built in 1913 by members of the community to serve as a focus for activities and entertainment. In the early years, the Hall was used for community dances and get togethers, and meetings on community issues

It is located near the Tweed River, with plenty of parking available. Tumbulgum village amenities include a general store, and a choice of eateries that may cater your event: Tumbulgum Tavern, Birdwing Cafe, House of Gabriel and The Bakery.

If you’re including sports in your event, Tumbulgum offers a tennis court and sports field. Your event attendees may enjoy water activities on the Tweed and Rous (North Arm) Rivers with tours from Tweed Heads and Tumbulgum based Mt Warning Tours.

Considering getting married?
Living Waters Church next to the Tavern offers regular services and the Seventh Day Adventist Church is located just over the bridge on Dulguigan Road.

Faith Bandler Park is a great spot for photographs. Your guests and event attendees will be impressed with your decision to choose Tumbulgum Hall with it’s picturesque location on the river.

The hall has a capacity of 207 people and includes stage, basic kitchen, tables and chairs, external toilets (disability equipped). For more details on the hall and it’s contents, click here.

Tumbulgum Hall is available for hire for any appropriate function or meeting at very reasonable rates. The Tumbulgum Community Association  is committed to supporting worthwhile community events while protecting the special character of our rural village environment.

Hall Hire Rates

For low impact hall hire – e.g. meetings, singing, yoga, dance groups.
Set up time and clean up time MUST be included in hiring hours.  Keys must be returned in time for following hall hirers.

$200 Security Deposit to be returned following successful inspection of the facilities after use.

$20 per hour

$300 per day (8am – midnight)
